Now, that we have done a bit of searching and gone through a few videos to see what data science is and the possible road maps in this amazing and powerful field, we are ready to dive in.

Data is our new best friend!

There is no data science without data. We will be working with lots and lots of data, data, data, and more data. Data is everywhere and all around us. It is the information that is created and stored somewhere whenever we do anything. As air is to humans, so data is to companies and businesses. They say data is the new oil. And how incredibly lucky are we to be the superbrain in control of the new oil? The success of any business lies in the insights and information it can derive from its data. Progressive and forward-thinking businesses make efficient use of their data.

As a data scientist/analyst, you will gain the skills needed to transform data into insights to help your company to succeed.

How do I gain these data skills?

First, you need skills to help you understand data, have a relationship with data, engage in two-way communication with data (tell your data things and listen to what your data is telling you), transform your data into actionable insights to make it work for you and finally do many fascinating things with data.

Here are a few tips to help you get started in this learning journey.

Learning Path
